It's been a while since I've written a blog, but I'm back again. My subject today is about Islam and Sharia creep, as it has to do with my country, Canada(or should I say, Canaduh!). This country used to be a great place to live in before Fundamentalist Muslims (Islamists) started coming in from everywhere, wanting to change our laws and customs.
No matter where you were from, whether it was China, Japan, eastern Europe, India, South or Central American, Africa, or the Middle East, you were welcome in our country. Most folks who came here from the old countries found it hard to assimilate, but they tried no matter what.
Their children adapted quite well and eventually became like the rest of us. The Chinese didn't come over here to change Canada into China, nor the Japanese to turn it into Japan; they did their best to live the "Canadian experience", even though they had a lot of adaptation to go through. I have a great deal of respect for such immigrants, because they faced a lot of change; after all, our cultures were very different in some respects.
But these days, Canada and the west in general face a new kind of immigrant, one who doesn't wish to be assimilated into our culture; one which thinks that the laws of his former country, usually referred to as Sharia, are much better than our laws. Some of them look down on free speech, freedom of religion (and from religion), the freedom that women enjoy here in Canada, especially when compared to some middle eastern countries such as Saudi Arabia and Iran, to name but two.
People came to Canada to have a better life and some came especially to have freedom. They came to be free to express an opinion, to vote, to marry who they wanted to marry, and so many other freedoms they may not have enjoyed in their respective countries. They tried hard to integrate, to learn the lingo, to fit in, make new friends and benefit the community.
But there is one kind of immigrant who doesn't wish to do this, who wishes instead to impose his religion on us, his laws on us, his way of life, his culture, on us. That immigrant is the Fundamentalist Muslim, a practitioner of one of the worst religions known to mankind. This is a religion that conquered using violence, with the sword, as did Christianity until the secular powers tamed this religion.
Now, with Islam, we have a religion that teaches that apostates should be beheaded, that women who get raped should be stoned, that homosexuals should be thrown off of buildings, that it takes two women in a Sharia court to equal a man, that men are superior to women, that Allah has given men authority over women because women are inferior. That inferiority does double for the Dhimmi, i.e., those who live in Islamic countries but are not Muslims.
All of the gains our forbears fought so long and hard to achieve would be trampled underfoot by this brutal religion; but that's not the worst part. No, the worst part is that politicians like Justin Trudeau are welcoming these folks with open arms, and don't you dare say anything against Islam or Muslims, because you'll end up being labeled a racist or an Islamophobia.
The trick, you see, is to employ the label "Islamophobic" to shut down any form of criticism of this religion. This is what Liberalism has become in Canada, a shill for an ignorant and brutal religion, a tool of conquest to be used by Islamists to impose their religion on our country.
What's happening in Europe and Great Briton is now starting to happen here in Canada, with the help of people like Justin Trudeau and philosophical Liberals, i.e., the left wing. Trudeau has helped introduce a motion in Parliament (M103) to "protect the Muslim" from Islamophobia, an invented word to shut down the conversation about Islam and to limit free speech by further using labels like "bigot" and "racist" and labeling criticism about Islam as hate speech.
Let's get one thing straight: if you can convert into something, or apostatise out of something: IT ISN'T ABOUT RACE!!! Islam has nothing to do with race, this is a ploy used by Islamists and the left wing to shut down the conversation, especially when that conversation is about telling people what Islam is really all about: conquest, by hook or by crook.
Anyone criticising Islam is viewed as a racist or a bigot. It doesn't matter what the criticism is, what matters is shutting up the opposition. Whether your opinion about Islam and Sharia creep makes sense, or not, it is not welcome here in Canada, and all the left wingers and Islamists have to do is yell "Islamophobia!" and you're dead in the water.
Now, the national broadcaster, the CBC, a government funded agency, is telling us that Sharia is nothing to worry about. Why? Because Imams have told them so. How convenient. Never mind that anyone can read the Qur'an and find out what Islam really is about. Never mind that one can inform oneself concerning Sharia and find out that Sharia really IS something to worry about in a free country. Nope, the left wing has decided that Islam and Sharia need to be protected from criticism: f**k you and your right to free speech! All they have to do is label you Islamophobic and charge you with hate speech; this is what M103 is about. If Islam needs special legal protection, then why not Christianity, Buddhism, or Hinduism? Why does Islam get to be treated better than every other religion?
Our forbears went through two world wars so that we could enjoy the rights and freedoms we have(or had in some cases), but the left has decided to spit on those sacrifices and invite a brutal religion to thrive and impose itself and its laws on us. The left is determined to shut up any and all dissenters where Islam is concerned, and all they have to do is invent a new word like "Islamophobia" and the rest cave in.
Sometimes, the problem is also that most Canadians are apathetic when it comes to this issue. We have bread a generation of gutless wonders when it comes to religious issues like Islam. So what if our culture is assimilated by Islam? How bad could it be? Just talk to someone from Saudi Arabia, or Iran, or some of some of the African countries now being conquered by Boko Haram, about how gentle and understanding they are with those who oppose them. Take a trip to the Middle East and see how nicely Christians and other Infidels are treated under Sharia.
It's time to put a stop to this invasion by Islam, and make no mistake, that's exactly what it is, an invasion. If we let Islamists have their way, this country will be assimilated, just as Europe and Great Britain are being assimilated. Islam is a plague on mankind, just as Christianity was in the dark ages. It needs to be tamed, just as we tamed Christianity. Islam started out as a brutal religion of conquest and its nature has not changed in 1,400 years. It's time to put a stop to it. Resistance is not futile!
